Snug Onesie and over orders

So, I went to my mailbox this morning at the post office and I have 2 packages. Unreal, I am expecting an order. The lovely (and cute) girl at the counter goes out back to grab my packages. She returns struggling with two huge boxes, one clearly marked "Tena Maxi Slip". Damit (slaps hand against forehead)!

I am not embarrassed about buying Nappies or even picking them up, even under close questioning its easy to make up some bull story about how they are for someone else. But it was just the expression on her face when she handed me the boxes, "Jesus, why do you need so many nappies!"
Anyway, I now have 6 packs of abri flex extra pants which are for work and during the day, and 4 packs of tena maxi slips for night. All of which I have to put somewhere where they wont be discovered (I live in a share house) and they came with a whopping bill of $220.00. I could return them but its a huge hassle so I am just going to keep them or possibly flog some off on eBay if I need to. If you live in Auz and wear a medium of either, let me know :-)

Also I have been struggling for years to find a good fitting Onesie. I am pretty long in the torso and every onesie is either to short and is massively tight, or to long and baggy and not doing anything. All these years I have been looking for one that provides support, while being slim fitting without being too small. I have even tried expensive onesie from privatina and they have not really been worth the price. But Alas, babykins have come to the rescue, the summer onesie is a perfect fit, Yay! If I am wearing tena's they provide the perfect amount of support to correct the droop. Perfect for every day and night wearing

Anyways, I am off to roll around in huge piles of nappies! :D

Nappies

Strange how some words or scents seem to trigger, on an emotional level, something from your past. This is not overly common with me but something happened today that made me feel really good. It's a little hard to explain, but essentially, I was doing a re-supply and getting some more pullups and Nappies (normally I would call them diapers but since thats the title of this post and I am Australian, I thought I would go with it :D). I normally purchase online with my supplier because its easy to do when I am laying in bed or when I am getting changed, but I needed to pay off my account so I thought I would call and kill two birds with one stone. I love my supplier, every time I have spoken to someone on the phone they have always been very cheery and helpful. This time, I was ordeing Abena products and everything starts with abri flex or form or something, so I can understand how confusing it can be for call centre staff. It came to the point where the attendant was describing to me the descrition of the product to confim that she was ordering the correct product for me when she asked, "is it the nappy or the pull up?"

Normally this would have been nothing, but there was something about someone saying the word "nappy" to me in the context of an "adult nappy" which was very unusual and comforting. At one point in time I am sure all AB/DL's have kept their love for nappies secret and I am sure some will never get the oppertunity to speak to an attractive sounding woman about adult nappies in any context, be it medical or otherwise. So for some reason it was very comforting to talk to someone about "the nappy style product, not the pull up" without being judged. Don't really know where this story is going, but I guess it really illustrates how isolated life can be sometimes, and although being a DL is a significant part of my life, I hardly ever get to talk to anyone about it. I guess that's why this blog is here! :D

Leave me some comments, I would love to hear your thoughts on similar situations,

Weekend!

Hi All,

It's the weekend and it's getting cold! So So happy now :D. I am enjoying the night by having dinner in front of a toasty warm fireplace and watching a movie. Not to much more could make me happier at this point in time. I am also trying this new amazon associates program. Essentially I can keep you up dated on the things that I am loving and where you can grab them (read: Kickback :P)

Anyways I am off, have a great weekend!
